Welcome to Kicklighter Academy! Our early learning center is open to all children 6 weeks through 6 years old, including those with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities,
Our goal is to provide environments that meet the individual needs of all children. We focus on the development of the whole child and encourage a love of learning through positive and reinforcing interactions.
Our teachers and staff are experts in the field of early care and education. With certifications and degrees in child related fields, our teaching staff provides the best care available for your family.
We utilize HighReach Learning curriculum, an award winning and research supported curriculum. This excellent learning tool promotes language, social and pre-academic skills. We nurture your child's development through art, music, dramatic play, exploration and hands on activities.
For our special needs students we provide individualized program plans that are created and supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst. These programs are strictly based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior. Program plans target all areas of skill deficits including: requesting, labeling, play skills, following directions, potty training, imitation and social skills.
